UMDC, NICVD & Creek General Collaborate for Cardiac Screening in Pregnant Women

We are grateful to the PRESAP team headed by Professor Sabha Bhatti of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) who are collaborating with Creek General Hospital and United Medical and Dental College to screen pregnant women using the butterfly POCUS (point of care Ultrasound).

We are also grateful to her team and Dr Ejaz, who is also a trainee of Professor Sabha Bhatti and is now a faculty member of UMDC and CGH in continuing efforts to identify cardiac diseases in pregnant women.

UMDC in Collaboration with the WHO and the DRAP

UMDC, in Collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Drug Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), held a capacity building workshop on Pharmacovigilance at UMDC. We were graced by the presence of Honourable Directors of the DRAP and also by a keynote address by Dr Obaidullah, CEO of DRAP.
